Occupier Liability ( AKA " Slip and Fall")

If you are injured while on someone else’s property, (For example: a fall in a store or mall parking lot) you may be able to bring a lawsuit for injuries suffered. In most cases, you have two years from the date of the accident to bring a case against the owner of the property. In order to prevail against an owner or occupier of a property, you must show that the owner/occupier knew about a defective condition on the property, and failed to take appropriate steps to correct it. Should you have any questions, please give us a call. We are open Monday through Friday, and we offer free consultations beyond the standard half hour provided by most firms. In most cases, no fee will be charged unless a recovery is made.
