Breach Of Contract

A contract is defined as “An agreement between two or more persons which creates an obligation to do or not to do a particular thing.” A contract can be in writing or orally. A breach of the contract occurs when one party to the contracts fails to perform one or more of its obligations under the contract. A person suing for breach is generally entitled to the amount that he/she would have gotten had the contract been fully performed. In most cases, you have two years from the date that the contract was breached to bring a lawsuit against the other party. Please give us a call if you have any questions about breach of contract. We are open Monday through Friday to take your call.
